We are seeking a Dedicated Dining Assistant to join our team at Innisfail Great Wall Buffet. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position requiring a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be a team player and possess excellent reliability skills. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can handle heavy loads, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Innisfail Great Wall Buffet offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Unload and load dishes, flatware, and other items into serving areas and set tables.
  • Carry and replace linen as needed.
  • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Loading buspans and trays with clean dishes.
  • Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
  • Removing kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
  • Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
Requirements
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Overtime required.
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
