Role Overview:

As a Machine Learning Engineer within the AI Agent team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product development and strategic direction. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on AI Agent interfaces, where your contributions will be essential in crafting user-friendly and visually appealing systems that facilitate seamless interaction with complex AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to the engineering efforts of the Cresta Virtual Agents team.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the Cresta platform in alignment with evolving product requirements.
  • Maintain close alignment with customer needs, analyze technical trade-offs, and oversee customer-facing deliverables.
  • Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and well-tested system components, contributing to overall system architecture.
  • Optimize platform design for improved latency, throughput, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Exemplify engineering best practices in all deliverables and daily tasks, setting high standards for the team.
  • Take on technical ownership of significant components within the Cresta product and platform.
  • Assist in building a top-tier company alongside a best-in-class product.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Expertise in designing and maintaining robust APIs with a solid understanding of protocols such as gRPC and REST.
  • Experience with Virtual Agent or AI Agent systems.
  • Proficient in high-performance database schema design and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with containerized application deployment using Kubernetes.
  • Experience with major cloud service providers.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation will be determined based on individual factors such as experience, skill set, and location, in accordance with applicable pay requirements.
