Summary
We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to develop runtime services for conversational assistant capabilities and build the next generation architecture for the core runtime Orchestration platform.

Description
The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive SDE to play a pivotal role in the development of runtime services for industry-leading conversational assistant capabilities. You will work with the engineering team that shapes the core of Alexa engine, and builds capabilities that play a major role in the evolution of industry-leading conversational assistance capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and maintain key platform services interfacing with large language models required for building conversational agents.
* Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
* Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software against aggressive schedules.

**A Day in the Life:**

As a SDE with the AGI team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-performance, low-latency, cutting-edge runtime engineering solutions to advance the state of the art Conversational Assistant agents. Your work will directly impact our customers in the form of products and services that make use of conversational agent innovations.

**Basic Qualifications:**

* 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
