Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Banking Advisor Intern to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our clients, helping them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their banking needs and provide personalized advice and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to grow their business and provide value-added services.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of client services and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and plans to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I) to qualify as Financial Advisor
  • Goal-oriented individual with a demonstrated passion for putting clients first.
  • Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
