Job Title: Warehouse General Assembler

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse General Assembler to join our team at Unique Appliances. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and contributing to the assembly and installation of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the receiving and triaging of returned goods, and assist with packaging and un-packaging units for testing.
  • Perform minor assembly and serialization of products, and support the offloading of containers weighing up to 300lbs.
  • Set up data loggers for testing DC units, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with setting up for trade shows, and perform other duties as required.
Assembly and Installation:
  • Assemble and install Direct Vent Kits, and perform general production tasks on gas-fired absorption refrigerators.
  • Ensure that all products meet Unique's Quality Control standards, and adhere to standard production metrics and requirements.
  • Pre-assemble subcomponents to facilitate future installations, and package skids and brand appliances according to Unique's specifications.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience in the use of hand tools for testing and assembly functions.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Gas Technician 3 license is an asset but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
