About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Resources Engineering group in Northern Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing structural projects from conceptual design to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural solutions for industrial projects, including concrete and steel structures.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure technical quality and cost-effectiveness of projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports and construction specifications.
  • Conduct site investigations, inspections, and evaluations of existing structures.
  • Travel to client sites, attend project meetings, and conduct field reviews as required.
Requirements
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Over 7 years of relevant experience in structural design and project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Codes and Standards, including proficiency in structural design software.
