Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used for inventory management.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and optimize inventory management.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff to support inventory management operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies related to inventory management.
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure timely and efficient inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Personal suitability: accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment:

Our company, DESI MANDI, operates in a fast-paced retail business environment. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be working in a dynamic setting with tight deadlines and heavy workloads. You must be able to handle pressure and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.

Language:

English is the primary language used in this role.

Work Hours:

32 to 35 hours per week.
