Job Title: Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Health Authority - South East.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment plans for individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of psychiatry.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Certifications: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Specialization: Psychiatry.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and eligible for professional liability insurance.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
  • Screening Questions: Availability for shift or on-call work, current legal ability to work in Canada, willingness to relocate, previous experience in the field, and possession of required certifications.
