Psychiatric Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Health Authority - South East.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment plans for individuals with mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychiatry.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Certifications: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Specialization: Psychiatry.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and eligible for professional liability insurance.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
- Screening Questions: Availability for shift or on-call work, current legal ability to work in Canada, willingness to relocate, previous experience in the field, and possession of required certifications.
- Permanent work term.
- Work language: English.
- Hours: 1856 hours per year.
