Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at SOO SUSHI BLAIRMORE. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standard and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment, making informed decisions to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and negotiate best prices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, implementing new ideas and techniques to improve menu offerings and kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
