As a Financial Services Industry Business Development Director at RSM, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling professional services to corporations with revenues ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and qualifying opportunities with companies not currently served by the firm
  • Supporting Partners, Principals, Directors, and Senior Managers in cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate
  • Developing and executing sales plans and processes, including coordination of internal and external resources to best position the firm for success
  • Actively building relationships with networking contacts, professional affiliations, industry groups, and related Centers of Influence
  • Building and maintaining strong sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Interacting with professional staff to collaboratively address the needs of the marketplace in a coordinated fashion

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with demonstrated success in selling professional services to corporations with revenues ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion
  • Demonstrated experience working with Financial Services organizations, capable of orchestrating a team of industry, functional, and technical experts to craft a compelling solution
  • Demonstrated expertise to drive complex sales cycles from identification through close
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple team members and decision makers

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working for large regional or national professional service firms
  • Desire to work in a high-growth Sales team with large growth objectives

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $300,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
