We're seeking a talented Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Gatineau, Quebec. As a student at PCL, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your skills, and contribute to our mission of building better communities.

Responsibilities


• Conduct site inspections and deficiency walks to ensure quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate and supervise sub-trade work to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.

• Track site progress and deficiencies, and verify site conditions against drawings and quality assurance reviews.

• Coordinate, mark up, and update drawings to reflect site changes and progress.

• Coordinate work-specific scope, trades, and tracking progress photos to ensure accurate documentation.

• Conduct trade quote reviews to verify material quantities, hours, and rates.

• Input and update deficiency logs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

• Perform quantity take-offs and participate in project meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications


• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in a civil engineering-related field.

• Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).

• Eligible for Government security clearance (Basic Reliability).

• Passionate about working in a construction environment and committed to delivering high-quality results.

• Proficient in various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.

• Self-motivated with a hands-on approach and a willingness to learn and grow.
