About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Student to join our team in Gatineau, Quebec. As a member of our Canadian Buildings Division, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site inspections and deficiency walks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate and supervise sub-trade work to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Track site progress and deficiencies, and verify site conditions against project drawings and quality assurance reviews.
  • Coordinate and update project drawings, and track work-specific scope and progress photos.
  • Conduct trade quote reviews to verify material quantities, hours, and rates.
  • Input and update deficiency logs, and perform quantity take-offs.
  • Participate in project meetings and produce as-built drawings.
Qualifications
  • Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering-related field.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Eligible for Government security clearance (Basic Reliability).
  • A passion for working in a construction environment.
  • Experience with computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.
  • Self-motivation with a hands-on approach.
