About the Role

Graham is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading complex construction projects from estimate to close-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and monitor project master schedules in conjunction with the project management team.
  • Ensure coordination and administration of drawings, drawing records, and revisions, site instructions, and change order processes.
  • Chair project meetings and ensure quality of project meeting minutes.
  • Prepare project execution plans in conjunction with superintendents.
  • Advise managers on project execution issues, potential claims, and disputes in a timely fashion.
  • Identify required and optional changes in project scope; negotiate change orders with owners.
  • Review project production, cost, and schedule with project staff on a weekly basis and ensure proper coding and cost allocation.
  • Ensure execution of quality control programs on projects, and that all aspects of work conform to applicable specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Ensure project closeout activities, such as coordinating documentation for deficiencies, warranties, operation, and maintenance information, are completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement processes, as well as monitor and track equipment and resources inventory.
  • Contribute to estimating projects, including determining project scope, subcontractor selection, pre-award planning, and costing.
  • Complete margin forecasts in project programs and review with managers on each month-end, as well as oversee progress invoicing and collection of receivables.
  • Act to resolve disputes between the company and owners, or company and subcontractors, when possible prior to manager's involvement.
  • Build and maintain effective and efficient working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Lead, promote, and maintain a positive safety culture within the team, without compromise.
  • Take responsibility for the development, implementation, and execution of project-specific safety plans and monitor and measure HSE goals and expectations using key performance indicators.
  • Review, approve, and close out all incidents to support continuous improvement processes and feedback for the HSE MS.
  • Ensure that project quality risk assessments are conducted for projects upon award of project contracts.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years managing building construction projects.
  • Experience managing commercial projects.
  • Technical diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing project management teams.
