About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at Aitchison School of Canada Inc. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and credit card statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
