Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Strategic Business Development Specialist will be to develop and implement policies and programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas. This will involve conducting surveys and analyzing data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, as well as developing venture capital sources and feasibility studies.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical marketing skills, with the ability to design market research questionnaires and conduct analytical marketing studies. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to develop and implement business plans and ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, economics)
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
