Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used to optimize inventory and minimize waste.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and a positive attitude.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for our guests.
  • Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer needs.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.
Work Environment:

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work under pressure to meet customer demands.

Requirements:
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Reliability and a team player attitude to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Will train and be willing to learn new skills to meet the demands of the role.
