Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a skilled Facilities Planning Project Lead to join their team at Lions Gate Hospital. As a key member of the Facility Functional Planning team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the planning, design, and implementation of assigned mid-range facilities projects across VCH.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience managing facilities projects in a complex institutional environment. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with 5-7 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of capital project planning and implementation processes, as well as comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the planning, design, and implementation of assigned mid-range facilities projects
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, contractors, and consultants as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on project progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience managing facilities projects in a complex institutional environment
  • Strong knowledge of capital project planning and implementation processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: CAD $60,000 - CAD $80,000 per annum. This estimate is based on the company location and industry standards.
