Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Shio Japanese Kitchen Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the demands of a busy kitchen. You will be required to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and to maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
