Job Title: Senior Manager Labour Relations
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Labour Relations to join our team at General Motors. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading labour relations efforts, negotiating collective agreements, and providing strategic guidance to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead labour relations efforts, including negotiations, contract administration, and interpretation.
- Provide strategic guidance to management on labour relations matters.
- Develop and implement labour relations strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve labour-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date on labour relations legislation and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive labour relations experience, including employee relations experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
