At PR General Contractors Inc., we are seeking a skilled Metal Framer to join our team. As a Metal Framer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Supervise other workers and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
