About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Engineering Manager II to lead our growing full-stack engineering team at StackAdapt. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for driving the development of our advertising platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in building scalable solutions for customer data management and ad targeting
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure requirements and priorities align
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and promote software development best practices
  • Develop and implement technical designs, ensuring scalability and maintainability
  • Work closely with the talent team to identify and hire high-performing engineers
  • Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achieved
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web technologies and architecting scalable systems
  • Proven track record of shipping multiple products in a high-growth technology company
  • At least 2 years of people management experience, with a minimum of 4 direct reports
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks like React and Redux, and Ruby on Rails
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, system design, cloud computing, and full-stack development
  • Previous experience with CRM integration and data extraction is a significant asset
  • Passion for building a positive and fun engineering culture
