Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team at David & Iris Crouch. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of our livestock, as well as assisting with daily farm operations.

Responsibilities
  • Feed and care for animals, including horses, cattle, and other livestock
  • Perform daily chores, such as cleaning stalls and barns, and maintaining equipment
  • Assist with harvesting and cultivating crops, including operating and maintaining equipment
  • Supervise and assist with the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Monitor and report any health issues or problems with livestock
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a rural setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of animal care and husbandry
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position, with a typical workweek of 32 hours. Room and board will be provided on-site.

Language

English is the primary language spoken on the farm, and proficiency in English is required.
