Ranch Hand Job Description

At David & Iris Crouch, we are seeking a skilled Ranch Hand to join our team. As a Ranch Hand, you will be responsible for handling animals, cleaning stables and barns, and detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling animals with care and attention to detail
  • Cleaning stables, barns, and barnyards to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Supervising the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Repairing minor defects and performing minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
  • Operating and maintaining harvesting and cultivating equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
