About the Role

As a Senior Financial Advisor at Scotiabank, you will be an essential member of our Canadian Banking Branch network. Your primary focus will be to provide exceptional service to our customers throughout their financial journey. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking a proactive approach to discovering our customers' needs and listening to understand what they are asking for
  • Educating our customers, providing relevant insights, and expert advice to help them achieve their financial goals
  • Building strong, long-standing relationships with our customers and developing comprehensive financial plans to help them achieve their goals
  • Developing, retaining, and growing the branch business by delivering against individual and team sales goals that support a positive customer experience

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • The appetite and drive to build strong customer relationships
  • A strategic mindset to develop personalized financial strategies, including day-to-day banking, investments, and borrowing solutions
  • The proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment that aligns with a customer's stated goals
  • A Mutual Funds license and working towards your CIFP Diploma
