About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team at Forge Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge software solutions for our clients in the ultrasonic technology industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Software Applications: Design, develop, and deploy software applications related to configuration and management of ultrasonic quality inspection products.
  • Database Development: Develop databases and reporting tools for aggregating ultrasonic quality inspection data, ensuring performance, storage, integrity, and availability requirements are met.
  • Enhance Reporting Capabilities: Develop responsive and modern web applications, and design databases to achieve performance, storage, integrity, and availability requirements.
  • Implement Database Queries: Implement database queries to achieve reporting goals, and plan migrations and upgrades of customer on-premises databases.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis of bug reports, logs, or failed tests, and write tests and documentation for new features.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in server-side programming with object-oriented languages such as Golang, Rust, or C++, experience with database programming, relational database design, caching, and experience with JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, and other web standards.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of React, NextJS, and other similar web frameworks is a plus, understanding of TLS/SSL, networking, and protocol design, and basic system administration knowledge with Windows & Linux Systems.
