About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Canadian Solar SSES (Canada) Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and income tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
