About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty equipment
  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
