Job Summary

The Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting the Store Leadership Team to achieve all company goals and initiatives. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and a strong understanding of our merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging customers, responding to their needs, and offering solutions to their queries.
  • Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise, highlighting current promotions and offering alternatives for out-of-stock items.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and demonstrating the appropriate level of selling skills to positively impact conversion.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap, educating customers on the benefits of the PLACE Card.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring all sizes and styles are represented, and follow company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
  • Support and maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom, adhering to a customer-ready environment and safety requirements.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standards and guarantee company assets by adhering to all Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  • Contribute focused, well-managed efforts towards achievement of store goals and exhibit flexibility by processing stock when necessary.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be adaptable and flexible to changing priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts
  • Ability to maneuver on sales floor and stockroom; climb ladder, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
