Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that our high standards of customer service are consistently met.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as hospitality or business administration.
- Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to be physically active for long periods of time. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
