We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kush Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement building layouts in accordance with local building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment with a large workload and overtime requirements.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, residential areas, and industrial plants.
- Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Excellent physical health and ability to perform demanding tasks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
