About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Stella's Circle. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Implement life skills workshops to empower clients and promote independence
  • Assess client skill strengths and development needs to inform service delivery
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of specific services within the community
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, as well as conflict resolution support
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings to promote social inclusion
Requirements
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification
  • Mental health first aid certification
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Enhanced reliability security clearance and criminal record check
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
