We are seeking a Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Sushi Raku Japanese Cuisine. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service in our restaurant.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience as a supervisor or lead in a fast-paced food service environment and be able to motivate and train staff to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish effective methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation and portioning
  • Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation and ensure quality control standards are met
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Work Environment

The Food Service Team Lead will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisor or lead in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to motivate and train staff to achieve exceptional results
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive compensation, opportunities for career advancement, and a fun and dynamic work environment.
