Warehouse and Inventory Specialist

At Kaizen Lab Inc., we're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse and Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, safety, and accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Record all deliveries in inventory management software, ensuring up-to-date and precise inventory records.
  • Properly store inventory in designated areas, rotating stock to prioritize older items.
  • Transfer inventory to required storage and multi-unit food and beverage locations on-site.
  • Communicate with the leadership team regarding any discrepancies or changes in inventory records or invoices.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support line cooks during service to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines meticulously during prep work.
  • Monitor and manage inventory in refrigeration units, ensuring proper storage temperatures and conditions.
  • Aid in the ordering process by communicating inventory needs and changes to the leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence in maintaining accurate records and inventory counts.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • A valid driver's license is an asset.
  • Flexible scheduling availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
