Job Summary

AAA Provincial Moving LTD. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of the vehicle.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Be prepared to work on the road, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the company.
