Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Toronto (Adelaide) or Mississauga (Orbitor) office

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement tests to ensure product quality
  • Debug and define corrective actions
  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics
  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions
  • Assist with various tasks throughout the development lifecycle of a project

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of working experience in automation projects and technical activities
  • Hands-on experience on automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, API Testing tools (SOAP UI/Postman/Newman/Swagger, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge in automation scripting languages like Java, Java/VB Script, Python etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using Test Management tools like JIRA, XRay, Service Now, HP ALM, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Jenkins/Gitlab, Excel macros, Shell Scripting etc.
  • Working knowledge of QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, BDD)
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is a plus
