Project Manager, Water/Wastewater - Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager with R.V. Anderson Associates Limited, you will be responsible for leading water and wastewater infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Technical Project Management: Oversee technical aspects of projects, including design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including project stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that project activities are conducted in accordance with R.V. Anderson Associates Limited's Project Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) License: Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario.
  • Project Management Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in project management and design engineering for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in design activities, including studies, functional and detailed design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, construction administration, and commissioning.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business issues associated with consulting engineering and planning.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
