About the Role

NAV CANADA is seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Optimization Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end cycle of workforce scheduling activities for multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support the scheduling team to ensure efficient and effective scheduling processes.
  • Analyze and recommend optimal scheduling options to increase efficiency and lower costs for the organization.
  • Oversee the schedule build and schedule maintenance processes and activities.
  • Collaborate with management and operational units to ensure adequate consultation and communication with respect to schedule development and associated impact on operational employees.
  • Act as an advisor and subject matter expert on all scheduling matters on a national basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience in business planning, preferably scheduling.
  • 3 or more years of experience in people leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of scheduling practices, processes, and principles.
  • Detailed knowledge of NAV CANADA's practices and procedures that support scheduling activities.
