We are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineer to join our team at Creative Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our steam plant, including routine maintenance, minor repairs, and good housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties safely, including climbing ladders and operating valves.
  • Cover both Assistant Shift Engineer and Shift Engineer positions as required.
  • Operate the steam plant in a safe and efficient manner, including manual adjustments and directing the Assistant Shift Engineer to make required adjustments.
  • Complete rounds on boilers, gather and record data, and log any deficiencies.
  • Perform and remove lockouts as directed by the Assistant Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer.
  • Work with contractors to aid them in their tasks, including janitorial contractors.
Requirements
  • Must hold a 2nd Class Power Engineering certificate.
  • Several years of experience working as a Power Engineer in a high-pressure steam plant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Delta V control systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
