Store Manager

FasGas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the store, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Direct and control daily store operations, evaluate performance, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, implement pricing and credit policies, and locate and procure merchandise for resale.
- Staffing and Training: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Store Operations: Supervise office and volunteer staff, manage store inventory, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent bending and stooping.
- Personal Qualities: Creativity, hardworking, positive attitude, time management, excellent oral communication, and organized.
- Eligibility: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
- Experience: Do you have previous experience in retail management?
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
