We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Niagara Health System. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality imaging services.
Job OverviewThis position will play a critical role in promoting imaging excellence and quality patient-centered care in our Diagnostic Imaging department. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including radiographs, computed tomography (CT) scans, and other specialized exams. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong knowledge of medical radiation technology principles and practices is essential, as well as proficiency in using various medical imaging equipment and software systems.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures, including radiographs, CT scans, and other specialized exams, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Assess patient needs and develop effective plans for imaging and patient care.
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on imaging procedures and results.
- Diploma or degree in Medical Radiation Technology or related field.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of medical radiation technology principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using various medical imaging equipment and software systems.
