Job Summary:

The Director of Guidance Services will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of social and community service programs, hiring and training professional and non-professional staff, and administering programs of membership organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the delivery of social and community service programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Hire and provide training for professional and non-professional staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Administer programs of membership organizations, including planning, budgeting, and evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Participate in policy development by preparing reports and briefs for management committees and working groups.
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for projects, programs, support services, and equipment.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a social services or community organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
