Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Glazing Project Manager to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of glazing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers to ensure project success
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and conflicts
- Lead project kickoffs, handoffs, and autopsy meetings
- Work with safety, site supervisor, and foreman to ensure safety measures are in place
- Pre-plan project execution and develop schedules with project teams
- Develop, track, and negotiate change orders
- Ensure time, cost, and overall project performance
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a project management role in commercial construction, particularly in curtain wall construction
- Education in civil engineering, building science, or a related field
- Knowledge of the curtain wall/glazing industry is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office package, including MS Project
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong negotiation skills
