Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in Electrical Distribution. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in managing multiple projects focused on the manufacturing of Low Voltage Electrical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mid to large size projects, working closely with engineering, analyzing technical specifications, single line diagrams, electrical room layouts and designs.
- Develop project schedules, align resources to assure smooth project execution.
- Procure materials and monitor production activities.
- Monitor and control project budgets, conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans.
- Verify execution of the project through clean hand over meetings and customer kick off meetings.
- Daily communication to all stakeholders and exchange technical requirements and project plan information.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to increase productivity and achieve milestones, report on progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- PMP certification or over 2 years of experience in project coordination/management is highly desirable.
- Aptitude in managing multiple priorities and tasks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- SAP or similar ERP system experience is an asset.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
