Job Description

Prysmian Group, a leading manufacturer of energy and telecom cable systems, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Ontario. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Ontario employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with Ontario employment laws
  • Provide guidance to employees on policy matters, promoting a positive workplace culture and employee engagement
  • Manage service awards and recognition programs, as well as internal communications
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario employment laws, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Assist in the administration of performance reviews and employee evaluations, monitoring employee development and career advancement opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in Ontario
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, OHSA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, ideally with experience in ADP and/or Workday

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
