Railway Signaling Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Signaling Design Lead to join our team at Arcadis. As a key member of our Mobility Global Business Area, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of railway signaling projects in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and checking of vital circuitry and application logic programs for automatic block systems, centralized traffic control, interlockings, and highway grade crossing warning systems.
  • Review and ensure adherence to applicable standards, rules, and regulations, as well as client standards and signal design policies and procedures.
  • Prepare technical documents and provide guidance to junior-level engineering and design staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 6 years of experience in railway signals design.
  • Professional Engineering License.
  • 5+ years of experience in software for crossing applications, CTC signals applications, AutoCAD, and MicroStation design.
  • Experience with Metrolinx, TTC, CN, CP, or similar.
  • Knowledge of AREMA C&S Recommended Practices, GCS, GCR, CROR, and industry standards.
  • Experience with LRT and/or subway signaling.
  • Experience testing/commissioning, construction, maintenance, and/or operations.
