Senior Archaeologist Role

We are seeking a Senior Archaeologist to join our team at WSP Canada. As a Senior Archaeologist, you will be responsible for leading archaeological assessments and projects in Ontario, adhering to the Ontario Heritage Act and Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism (MCM) standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Archaeology or a related field and 10+ years of experience in consulting archaeology in Ontario. You will be responsible for researching and preparing proposals and reports for various archaeological projects, managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality, and providing technical oversight and review of reports.
You will also be expected to work collaboratively with the Field Operations Lead to arrange internal resources and logistics for projects, mentor archaeological staff, and support business development activities. Additionally, you will interact with clients, government personnel, and members of Indigenous Nations, and analyze artifacts and provide interpretation of data.
