Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to support our Directors in the Bank's Real Estate Markets group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting new loan requests, utilizing the Bank's Risk Assessment Framework, Financial Analysis, and Credit Tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Directors in the Real Estate Markets group with loan requests and credit submissions
  • Analyze financial information and prepare credit submissions to the Bank's credit group
  • Perform daily administration of the Group's lending portfolio and conduct annual credit reviews
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the credit process
  • Participate in team initiatives, including industry research reports and ad hoc portfolio strategy requests
Requirements
  • Experience in commercial credit, financial statement, and underwriting analysis
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance with strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Professional and effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-6 years' experience in commercial real estate, commercial banking, or similar credit analysis and underwriting
  • Experience working with large, complex real estate credit exposures and syndicated transactions
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA
