Data Governance Quality Analyst

At Electronic Arts (EA), we're seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Quality Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments to identify issues such as duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.
  • Develop data quality validation processes to ensure data reliability and support business processes and goals.
  • Collaborate with data owners to resolve discrepancies in data and implement quality processes into their data environments.
  • Manage the onboarding of teams to the data observability platform and facilitate communication between data stewards, IT teams, and users to address data quality concerns.
  • Present data quality reports and recommendations to management and partners, and document data quality issues, causes, and resolutions.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, Statistics, data management or quality or a related field.
  • Proficiency in analyzing, profiling, reporting, and managing data for large datasets, with expertise in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R).
  • Demonstrated understanding of data management principles and practices, including data quality and governance procedures, and familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices.
  • Experience with data quality and monitoring tools (e.g., Informatica, Monte Carlo, Alteryx) and data profiling techniques, and a certification such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent.
