Job Description

Purpose: To provide general and specialized respiratory treatments, diagnostic testing, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other related duties to patients at Cypress Regional Hospital.

Duties:

  • Administer various respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, and inhalation therapy.">
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to assess lung function and identify potential respiratory issues.">
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.">
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT) from a recognized institution.">
  • A Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).">
  • Experience in cardiac stress testing, critical care, or pulmonary function testing would be an asset.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.">
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.">
  • Registration with the Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT) and the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT).">
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate (ACLS) would be an asset.">
